You want to own your career and you’re ready to write the next chapter of your career story: a challenging and rewarding role as a Senior Program Manager for Edgewell's APAC markets. You will be responsible for leading, managing, and implementing projects of various types such as New Product Development (NPD), Cost Savings, Global Supply Chain, and others. In order to be successful in this role, you must be experienced in influencing others, building and maintaining relationships, managing projects from start to finish, the ability to communicate to different levels of the organization, and have experience in product development from concept to launch.

 

Let's Get Down To Business

You would manage cross-functional teams, resources, and program budgets. Types of projects to manage include New Product Development, Commercial, Cost Savings, Strategic Operations Projects (footprint changes, capacity expansions), Corporate Projects (acquisitions, divestitures) and Global Supply Chain initiatives.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leads, manages and implements projects and business plans while meeting performance hurdles. Holds team members and cross-functional partners accountable to tasks and deadlines.
  • Tracks the efforts and progress of the project team and insures visibility of progress and successful completion of project through use of appropriate project tracking tools, timelines, team meetings, etc.
  • Leads project team and ensures all roles and responsibilities for the team are clearly defined and communicated. Can lead and manage change that may arise.
  • Responsible for creating stage-gate contract documents and submitting for electronic approvals by management to proceed to next phase of NPD project(s). Makes process improvement recommendations as needed.
  • Works with the team members in developing solutions to issues that arise during the progress of the project. Takes corrective action when projects are not on track for targeted completion.
  • Ensures risks within a project are clearly defined, mitigated, and communicated to team and appropriate levels of management.

 

 

Show Us What You've Got

Ideally you should hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or the Sciences, with working experience in regulated liquid fill product development.  Professional experience is important, but it’s paramount you share our values and belief in ‘challenge to win’.

In addition, it would be great if you have the following skills and experience:

 

  • 10+ years of experience in a related technical and/or business responsibility at the professional level in multi-national FMCG companies
  • 5+ years of project management & product development experience with the ability to manage large, complex project
  • Experience in leading new product development introductions is a must
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal
  • APAC regional experience (including Australia & NZ) is a strong plus
  • Must have proven competency in working independently and virtually
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, and other program management tools and systems
  • Proven leadership, strategic abilities, self-motivated and needs little supervision
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with various functional groups within the organization and external agencies
  • Ability to influence the decision-making process while balancing strategic and financial factors and priorities
  • Highly developed project management, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • PMP certification preferred 
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong change management, negotiating and conflict resolution skills
