We are looking for an experienced procurement professional to join Edgewell Personal Care – a global consumer goods business with a portfolio of over 25 brands (Wilkinson Sword, Schick, Hawaiian Tropic, Carefree, Bulldog Skincare, Jack Black, Cremo and recently acquired Billie… just to name a few!).
Now, Let’s Get Down to Business
Reporting to the Procurement Manager (based in the US), you will be part of the Global Procurement Centre of Excellence (COE). The COE’s purpose is to build a truly world class procurement function, supported by best-in-class Processes, Tools, Systems, and Training. Focus areas include but are not limited to Data & Spend Analytics, Category Management, Supplier Relationship & Risk Management, Sustainability and Procurement Systems. In this position, you will focus on analysing market intelligence and commodity trends to bring actionable insights to the category teams to enable their strategies and sourcing decisions. You are expected to help automate data collection, modelling and visualization as well as streamline process workflows where possible. You will also be required to liaise closely with procurement category leads globally across multiple geographies and work cultures to enable category strategies using market insights. Are You Ready to Show Us What You’ve Got?
You will be part of the wider Edgewell Procurement team who will rely on your analytics skills. Therefore, developing good relationships with key stakeholders with internal and external partners is essential. Here is what we are looking for:
• Experience in a business function such as Finance, Business Analytics, Procurement or related field.
• Understanding of commodity markets and ability to perform analysis to create actionable insights
• Strong Excel and database manipulation skills with the ability to create moderate to complex formulas
• Demonstrated knowledge of relevant technology systems including ERP, e-Procurement, Spend Analysis, and Contract Management
• Proficient in Business Data Models, Microsoft Access, SAP & Business Warehouse reporting, Excel (Expert-Level including writing Macros, power query), SQL, Python is required
• Ability to build effective relationships and teamworking
• Flexible to work across different time zones and working cultures
• Experience with risk management (commodity as well as supplier) is preferred.
• Fluent in English (written & verbal communication)
