We are looking for a Brand Manager or experienced Assistant Brand Manager to join Edgewell Personal Care – a global consumer goods business with a portfolio of over 25 brands (Wilkinson Sword, Schick, Hawaiian Tropic, Carefree, Bulldog Skincare for Men, Jack Black and recently acquired Cremo Grooming… just to name a few!).
Now, Let’s Get Down to Business
You will play a leading role in growing penetration of the #2 biggest selling women’s shaving brand in Europe, Wilkinson Sword Intuition. Your key responsibility will be to ensure our products remain compelling, relevant and a source of continuous delight for consumers. Your scope of influence will span brand messaging (claims & toolkit development), portfolio optimization (including profitability & mix) and product renovation (i.e. packaging restages and line extensions).

Here’s a sample of what you’ll get up to:

•    Manage our portfolio to grow brand penetration & improve performance by monitoring sales & margin performance, consumer perceptions & experience, market trends, product lifecycle, and competitor moves and delivering strategic recommendations across the Ps. 
•    Develop & deliver the product renovation roadmap by identifying insights & strategic opportunities, developing business cases, ideating new concepts, managing cross-functional stakeholders, developing claims, pricing recommendations, creating new pack design & delivering launch toolkits.
•    Engage markets to deliver our must-win battles by developing strong relationships with local marketing teams and offering challenge & expertise towards creating robust marketing plans. 
•    Collaborate closely with the Brand Manager (Masterbrand), to strengthen brand proposition & messaging and partner on new comms development.

Are You Ready to Show Us What You’ve Got?
We’re looking for a current Brand Manager or high potential Assistant Brand Manager (significant experience) who wants to further develop in a role that offers greater autonomy and impact. 


Here’s what we are looking for:
•    Experience in FMCG or Personal Care within established brands.
•    Experience with either French, German or UK markets.
•    Knowledge of market research techniques and decoding insights into action 
•    Ability to analyse performance data and make strategic recommendations across the Ps.
•    Understanding of concept development (insight, benefit, RTB)
•    Experience managing agencies.
•    Experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
•    Ability to quantify success of your previous projects (via sales, share, penetration, awareness, etc.)
•    Educated to degree level or equivalent or similar.
