Digital Marketing Manager, Jack Black

Position Summary:

The Digital Marketing Manager will develop and execute performance based digital programs that include a mix of social media (strategy & execution), programmatic/display, and SEO/SEM advertising; partner with 3rd party agencies to develop strategies, manage budgets and track performance of digital marketing campaigns; optimize spend and performance based on identified trends and insights. They will work collaboratively with the rest of the Marketing Team as a digital expert and focus on Jack Black’s domestic and international direct to consumer sites and paid media strategies. 

The ideal candidate is someone who is familiar with a breadth of digital channels, able to develop an integrated digital strategy, and drive actions with measurable impact. This role is part of the Jack Black Marketing Team.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop global digital marketing strategies, including plans and how to measure & optimize, in partnership with the product marketing and domestic/international sales teams.
  • Gather performance data for digital marketing campaigns, analyze learnings, and optimize ongoing and future campaigns
  • Develop acquisition and retention programs to achieve defined acquisition and lifetime value benchmarks (including vetting new 3rd party agencies).
  • Manage day-to-day paid media budgets.
  • Manage agency partners to drive results.
  • Partner with Site Merchandiser to monitor, audit and update DTC websites to optimize SEO rankings.
  • Monitor and report performance of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Manage all digital marketing campaigns based on historical benchmarks and profitable ROI.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally within the organization to understand and better optimize user experience.
  • Partner with US Site Merchandiser to develop and execute parallel international promotional strategies.
  • Recommend effective emerging technologies relative to create and establish revenue and margin growth.
  • Partner with International Distributors to globally share digital marketing learnings
  • Partner with Jack Black’s traditional marketing organization to formulate and execute an integrated customer experience.

 

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor level degree
  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience
  • 3+ year of experience in demand generation for ecommerce
  • Experience working in a complex, dynamic organization and driving collaboration
  • Motivated independent, self-starter that is comfortable in start-up type atmosphere and is willing and ready to “roll their sleeves up” 

Desirable Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with digital advertising & eCommerce tools is a plus (Google Analytics, Ad servers, etc.)
