Position Summary
The Senior Business Intelligence Coordinator – NOLA is accountable for delivering advanced, high-quality business intelligence and analytical support to enable commercial decision-making across the North LatAm region. The role ensures the integrity, consistency, and effective use of commercial data, translating complex information into structured insights that support regional planning, performance management, and execution.
This position operates as a senior individual contributor within the Business Intelligence function, with regional scope and high autonomy, supporting strategic initiatives while maintaining strong execution ownership, being proactive providing insights at the correct momentum.
Key Accountabilities
Business Intelligence & Analytics Execution
- Execute and maintain core business analyses to support commercial and strategic decisions.
- Deliver standardized and ad-hoc analytical outputs to support regional commercial decision-making.
- Perform advanced analysis on Sell In, Sell Out, pricing, inventory, promotions, channels, and categories.
- Generate clear insights from Nielsen, Kantar, and internal data sources, translating data into practical business implications
- Identify potential risks, opportunities, and performance gaps through structured in time KPI monitoring.
- Translate analytical findings into clear insights and recommendations for commercial stakeholders.
- Monitor KPIs and proactively flag deviations, trends, and opportunities.
Strategic Planning & Performance Support
- Support Annual Business Planning (ABP) and Quarterly Forecast (QF) processes at regional level.
- Provide analytical inputs related to category trends, pricing actions, portfolio performance, and forecast accuracy.
- Monitor execution against plan and highlight deviations with actionable insights.
Data Governance & Standardization
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and governance of business intelligence outputs across NOLA markets/channels.
- Maintain and update master data, catalogs, and standardized analytical structures.
- Support data harmonization across Sell In, Sell Out, Nielsen, and internal systems.
- Maintain alignment to regional KPI definitions, methodologies, and reporting standards.
- Contribute to regional data homologation and best practice sharing.
Reporting & Tools
- Develop and enhance dashboards and reports using approved BI tools (Power BI, Excel).
- Ensure timely delivery of recurring management reports.
- Support the adoption and effective usage of regional analytical platforms.
Commercial Execution Support
- Lead regional SLOBs analysis and tracking in collaboration with Sales, Demand, and Supply functions.
- Support pricing execution tracking and post-activity performance analysis.
Scope & Impact
- Geographic scope: North LatAm (México).
- Functional scope: Business Intelligence and commercial analytics.
- Impact: Influences regional commercial decisions through data-driven insights.
- Decision authority: Recommends actions; presents proposals; decisions validated by BI or Commercial leadership.
- People management: None (individual contributor).
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in quantitative discipline (Engineering, Economics, Business, Finance).
- Postgraduate education in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Business Development, or closely related disciplines is considered a strong plus.
- 5+ years of experience leading/Coordinating Business Intelligence and/or Data Analytics function within FMCG.
- 10+ years of experience within Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or Business Development function within FMCG.
- Accountability for strategic proposals driven by Information Management, ensuring recommendations are evidence-based, verifiable and achievable.
- Advanced expertise in Nielsen, Sell Out, and category analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of business and commercial processes within an organization.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI and Excel; experience with enterprise data platforms preferred.
- English: Advanced, fluent communication in professional and business contexts, writes complex documents and reports with high accuracy.
