Position Summary

Responisble for the continued growth of the Sun Care category driven by (i) brand building among target consumers, leveraging on regional assets + A&P budget, (ii) leading strategic portfolio and innovation activation, (iii) developing season & off-season sell-out strategies together with Sales and Customer MKT teams, (iv) closely tracking internal + external results for course correction and (v) identifying + activating new opportunities in the market.

Responsible for the proper execution of brand plans and marketing strategies for Sun Care in the NOLA Cluster, supported by the Marketing LATAM team, aligned with Regional guidelines and considering the needs and realities of the Mexican market. Receives strategic direction from the NOLA Marketing Head, who is focused on connecting the brand execution with the strategic commercial plans + sell-out activation.

The above is with the purpose of achieving growth objectives in terms of sales, market share, and profitability of the Sun Care brands, bearing in mind the market priorities and available resources.

 Universal Accountabilities

  • Support Commercial Team in the annual implementation of marketing and business plans, for the respective brands. 
  • Ensure the execution of brand guidelines in a consistent way with the affiliate (Consumer & Trade), maximizing brand initiatives in line with local executions according to market needs.
  • Ensure the adequate price strategy for the brand while maintaining an active commercial dynamic with tactical actions (discount or promotions), that contribute to the expansion plans, always considering the profitability of the Company.
  • Support the development and implementation of the promotional calendar of events for channels.
  • Support growth plans of Trade Marketing / Sales, either in specific geographies or at national level, to ensure competitiveness of the brands and strengthen their presence.
  • Manage the budget for marketing A&P according to planned activities and phasing of investment previously agreed with Regional Marketing.
  • Coordinate advertising and promotion agencies to execute the aforementioned plans.
  • Periodically visit the market in order to analyze new trends and competition.
  • Ensure Internal Controls via proper documentation of all activities and registration of data.

 Specific Accountabilities

  • Become the go-to expert for category development, market share, P&L, sell-in, sell-out and competitive analysis.
  • Deep connection with Supply Chain, Sales and Customer Marketing to guarantee an excellent execution of the marketing plans (product availability at the right time, place, mix and quantity, supported by communication, promotion and display).  
  • Identify and recommend business plans, considering top and bottomline profitability.
  • Expand consumer base, strengthen loyalty and improve brand indicators, for which collaboration with Regional Marketing is essential.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Marketing Degree or Administrative Degree
  • Advanced / Fluent English (spoken and written)

 Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 10 - 12  years of Marketing Experience
  • Advanced Excel, Word, Power Point, AC Nielsen
  • Knowledge in the sector of consumer goods in multinational companies
