Position Summary

Overall responsibility for managing and improving Cyber Security across the global organization. Activities include, but not excluded to, developing, implementing, and monitoring security measures for the protection of IT systems, networks, and information.  This position will need to work collaboratively with functional areas and IT partners to achieve project objectives, deliverables and to ensure we provide a high-quality response to our customers

Universal Accountabilities

  • Identifying and defining system security requirements
  • Functional understanding of key network systems
  • Designing computer security architecture and standards
  • Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols
  • Risk assessments
  • Identifying vulnerabilities
  • Maintain Perimeter Systems
  • Maintaining all the software and hardware in relation to security
  • Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices
  • Determining configurations to enhance existing security products
  • Incident response activities to minimize the impact
  • Security breach root cause analysis
  • Maintain awareness of cyber trends, threats, and vulnerabilities

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong ability to take initiative and move toward a solution or action with minimal supervision
  • Expert knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipment
  • Knowledge and experience of customer service practices
  • Strong organizational, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills
  • Experience working with:
    • 3rd party service providers
    • Next Generation Firewalls

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Security + or equivalent certification
  • Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or Computer related field
  • 5 or more years of technical experience
  • ITIL certification is a plus
  • Scripting experience is a plus
  • Expert knowledge of TCP/IP


Work Environment

  • Travel - 10%
  • Moving/lifting equipment 3 – 20lbs in weight
