Responsible for providing the account/market specific analyses used to drive the sales and profit results within their account span of control.  The Sales Analyst partners with the National Account Managers to utilize this information both Nationally and at the Account level to drive business results.  The Analyst is accountable for the volume shipment and consumption results within the Private Brands Group channel.



  1. Conduct ongoing business analyses, including National, Channel, and Account-specific reports, business reviews, new item tracking, account score carding.  This includes but is not limited to:  building and analyzing retailer & syndicated databases to track account consumption, shipments, market share and profitability results.
  2. Ability to retrieve and analyze Nielsen / IRI / Customer portal data to evaluate sales trends and make recommendations for appropriate actions to be taken to improve 4-P execution and grow the PBG and total Edgewell business.  Includes both periodic & ad hoc reporting needs.
  3. Analyze Retail Link (Walmart specific) information to ensure clear Team understanding of opportunities and overall health of the business at this critical customer.
  4. Provide knowledge and analysis on the competitive environment, including:  POS trends in the marketplace, new Brands, new item distribution, promotional support, pricing, etc.
  5. Measure the effectiveness and efficiency of PBG promotions.
  6. Work closely with Category Development Team to consistently incorporate and share Category, Consumer, and other relevant insights with PBG Sales Team.
  7. Develop and present comprehensive selling stories designed to maximize Private Brand distribution and sales growth through the effective use of syndicated data, account POS, and consumer research. 
  8. Assist NAMs with general Customer support requirements, which includes completing new item forms, etc.  Attend Customer meetings, as requested, to support sell-in and drive engagement with Customer decision maker(s).
  9. Work closely with Broker resources, as applicable, to leverage our broker investment and available resources.



  1. Bachelor’s Degree Required.
  2. 3-5 Years relevant experience.
  3. Travel up to 10% annually depending on business needs.
  4. Communication: effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to send and receive concise information orally or written to individuals and groups.
  5. Systems Literacy: computer literacy, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Nielsen / IRI, along with willingness and ability to learn & quickly adapt to other internal support systems.
  6. Ability to create professional PowerPoint presentations incorporating data, relevant insights and information, visual aids, charts, tables, graphs, etc. as appropriate.
  7. Independent & motivated individual: ability to receive direction and convert into an action plan with ongoing coaching and feedback.
  8. Time Management: Solid capability to manage and prioritize schedule.
