The Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Lead for LATAM will be responsible for the Forecasting, Reporting, Planning and Analysis using both qualitative and quantitative analysis of the company’s LATAM P&L. This opportunity will be hybrid with 3 days per week in our Bogota corporate office.
Responsibilities
- Support in reviewing and consolidating month-end and quarter-end close activities, forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, and ad hoc analysis and provide explanations about the figures leveraging on the local and regional leaders.
- Lead the OVH structure valuation along with Human Resources, and supervise closing to identify variations and root causes.
- Work closely with Commercial and Marketing teams, through important understanding of financial statements with high communication ability and influencing the decisions to maximize company results.
- Involvement and understanding of LATAM EBP/FAST process. Analysis of volume and valorization implications.
- This position reports to the LATAM Finance Director and manages one direct report.
Main activities
- Lead annual business plan and forecasts (sales volume, prices, gross to net waterfall, cogs, marketing investments, SG&A) managing and interacting with functional areas.
- Responsible for valuing the LATAM HC structure. Monitor payroll-related reports and analysis for management, providing insights and recommendations for decision-making.
- Lead the financial management of Custom Brands - Brand Partner (Genomma Lab).
- Manage the Finance Innovation Agenda, following up the P&L feasibility, product launches and SKU profitability, and be a contact point with Global and marketing function.
- Month-end analysis, reporting and consolidation.
- Provide financial reports required for the stakeholders.
- Preparation of monthly closing estimates and results analysis, prepare presentation and notes.
- Participate and engage in month-end closing reviews with Shared Services Center and FP&A local teams and provide feedback on reported numbers.
Qualifications And Experience Required
- Degree in relevant finance/accounting/business
- 8 Years of Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, and/or Financial Controlling
- Solid understanding of reporting, budgeting, and forecasting techniques
- Advanced analytical reporting skills using Excel and Hyperion.
- Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SAP. Easily adapt to new technology
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) verbal and written
- Strong financial & commercial analysis background, ability to connect with senior stakeholders, functional areas and capacity to adapt to different market environments/ cultures
- Problem solver, with high financial abilities, reading financial statements, and translating findings to action, influencing the decision-making process with commercial and marketing teams
