Now, Let’s Get Down to Business
Reporting to the Strategic Customer Development Manager (LatAm), you will be part of a diverse team and work in conjunction with others in department, across the division, and with corporate merchandising to facilitate implementation of programs. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Category Management professional to be responsible for developing the assessment and implementation of initiatives related to Category Management in selected categories/brands, create and implement shelf planograms for each assigned category, bases on detailed analysis of past performance and results and act as primary contact within division for all vendors in categories assigned as well as meeting vendors on a consistent basis for category business updates, plan and develop customer-specific category programs with a focus on improving merchandising, shelving and product mix and building/maintaining positive and collaborative working relationships and communications with Sales Team. Measures and responds to both internal and external customer satisfaction. The role demands a great deal of proactivity, communication and understanding customer information, so is ideal for someone who enjoys managing a variety of tasks whilst keeping close to the details and customer requirements. You’ll have a real passion for continuous improvement and will be looking for the opportunity to utilize your experience to drive positive business change. 
Here are some of the things that we’re looking for:

 

•    Bachelor in Business Administration, Marketing or another Undergraduate Curriculum
•   Strong experience in Category Management
•    Field sales experience in retail trade types: big chain supermarkets, mass merchandisers, cash & carry  business.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skill in both English and Spanish
•    Excel knowledge is a must
•    Experience working as Catman for main retailers (Walmart, etc). Proven experience with in-store projects.
•    Experience working with Nielsen, Kantar, Dunnhumby data (quantitative analysis and main insights)
•    Other computer programs: JDA / Spaceman (Nielsen)/ Space Planning.
