Position summary

Support Accounts Payable service delivery for assigned LATAM markets by coordinating with the BPO provider, resolving routine exceptions, maintaining operational controls, and supporting stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate AP processing.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support

  • Monitor daily AP activities performed by the BPO provider.
  • Follow up on pending invoices, approvals, and payment-related issues.
  • Review AP reports and identify items requiring action.
  • Support month-end activities and reconciliations.

Issue Resolution

  • Resolve routine invoice and payment inquiries.
  • Coordinate with business users, Procurement, and vendors to obtain missing information.
  • Escalate complex issues to the Senior AP Analyst when required.

Stakeholder Support

  • Respond to inquiries from internal customers and vendors.
  • Provide status updates on invoice and payment requests.
  • Maintain effective communication with assigned markets.

BPO Coordination

  • Follow up on operational issues with the BPO team.
  • Ensure adherence to established procedures.
  • Support execution of corrective actions identified by Senior Analysts or AP Leads.

Controls & Compliance

  • Perform routine reviews and validations.
  • Ensure required documentation is maintained.
  • Support audit requests and control activities.

Reporting

  • Prepare operational reports and KPI updates.
  • Monitor invoice backlog and open items.
  • Track issue resolution and escalation status.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Experience in a Shared Services or GBS environment preferred.
  • Exposure to LATAM operations is a plus.
  • Intermediate to advanced English
  • Experience with SAP
  • Advanced Excel and reporting/dashboarding tools.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
