Position Summary

The Walmart Team Leader is responsible for developing, implementing, and leading the annual Walmart business plan across Edgewell's Suncare and Skincare portfolio. This role leads the Walmart Commercial Team and is accountable for delivering best-in-class customer execution while driving profitable growth through strategic partnerships with Walmart.

The Walmart Team Leader provides leadership to Customer Business Managers, Sales Analysts, and cross-functional partners while serving as the primary executive contact for Walmart. This customer-facing leadership role is responsible for developing and executing strategies that deliver sales growth, innovation, market share, profitability, omnichannel expansion, and supply chain excellence. The role partners closely with Sales Strategy, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Revenue Growth Management, Category Leadership, Shopper Insights, Digital Commerce, and Business Unit leadership to ensure aligned execution and achievement of company objectives.

Universal Accountabilities

Develop Annual Customer Business Plan

  • Develop and execute the annual Walmart Joint Business Plan aligned to Edgewell's strategic priorities and Walmart's growth agenda.
  • Build customer plans that deliver revenue, market share, profitability, innovation, digital growth, and execution objectives while maximizing return on investment.

Lead Customer Strategy

  • Serve as the strategic leader for the Walmart business by identifying growth opportunities across stores, Walmart.com, Marketplace, and omnichannel initiatives.
  • Position Edgewell as Walmart's preferred strategic partner through category leadership, shopper insights, innovation, AI-enabled selling, and data-driven recommendations.

Lead the Walmart Team

  • Lead and develop the Walmart Commercial organization, including Customer Business Managers, Sales Analysts, and cross-functional partners.
  • Establish clear priorities, coach team members, build organizational capability, and foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and execution.
  • Ensure consistent communication of Edgewell's commercial priorities, brand strategies, and customer objectives across the organization.

Drive Business Performance

  • Deliver annual objectives for sales, profit, market share, innovation, distribution, and customer scorecard metrics.
  • Identify risks and opportunities proactively and develop action plans to exceed business objectives.
  • Lead negotiations on assortment, pricing, merchandising, promotional programming, and strategic investments.

Lead Cross-Functional Execution

  • Partner closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Category Leadership, Revenue Growth Management, Shopper Insights, Digital Commerce, and Operations to ensure flawless execution of customer plans.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment on new item launches, seasonal events, omnichannel initiatives, and supply chain readiness.

Forecast and Financial Management

  • Own customer forecasting and business planning in partnership with Demand Planning and Finance.
  • Ensure accurate volume, revenue, inventory, and promotional forecasts while optimizing investment effectiveness and profitability.

Executive Relationship Management

  • Develop strong executive-level relationships throughout Walmart across Merchandising, Ecommerce, Replenishment, Supply Chain, Marketplace, Walmart Connect, and Merchant leadership.
  • Represent Edgewell with credibility and strategic influence while identifying opportunities to deepen the long-term partnership.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing large, complex customer businesses, preferably Walmart or major national retailers.
  • Extensive knowledge of Walmart's merchandising organization, omnichannel ecosystem, digital commerce, and customer planning processes.
  • Deep understanding of shopper behavior, syndicated data, retail analytics, AI-enabled insights, and category management.
  • Proven ability to build long-term strategic customer partnerships that drive profitable growth.
  • Strong commercial acumen across sales strategy, finance, demand planning, supply chain, revenue growth management, and marketing.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior leaders without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to convert insights into action.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and executive relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and develop high-performing teams.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for innovation, digital transformation, AI-enabled selling, and continuous improvement.
  • Models collaborative leadership, accountability, integrity, and a growth mindset.

The salary range for this position is $145,000–$200,000.  Compensation for this position varies based on a range of equal opportunity factors, including but not limited to role scope, level of experience, relevant skills, education and credentials, external and internal benchmarks for equivalent roles and experience, business sector, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are based on the specific facts and circumstances of each case. In addition to base salary, the total rewards package may also include, for eligible roles, bonus, and long-term Incentive.
