We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join Edgewell Personal Care – a global consumer goods business with a portfolio of over 25 brands (Wilkinson Sword, Schick, Hawaiian Tropic, Banana Boat, Bulldog Skincare, Jack Black, Cremo and recently acquired Billie… just to name a few!).
Now, Let’s Get Down to Business
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will establish on-going mutually profitable business relationships with our Foodstuffs account, through the development and execution of sustainable monthly, quarterly, and annual business plans. You will be responsible for achieving channel objectives, KPIs and targets, and will manage 2 direct reports (Account Executive, and Area Sales Manager) to support you with this. Are You Ready to Show Us What You’ve Got?
You will be part of a small team who will rely on your expertise. Therefore, developing good relationships with key stakeholders with internal and external partners is essential.
Here is what we are looking for:
• Experience of managing Foodstuffs as a customer or similar customer base, including achieving strong negotiation outcomes
• National account management experience ideally within consumer goods/cosmetics or retail
• Ability to lead the process of negotiating annual customer trade terms and customer joint business plans (new product launches, 4P execution), ensuring excellent implementation from the Field Sales Team.
• Proficient in IRI tools, using Promax/Wipro, Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to build effective relationships with challenging customers, negotiate and influence
• Ability to work autonomously whilst collaborating with diverse teams
• People management experience
