While it may sound cliché, we're looking for a 'game-changer', someone with strong sales management experience to join Edgewell Personal Care – a global consumer goods business with a portfolio of over 25 brands (Schick, Banana Boat, Bulldog Skincare…just to name a few!).

 

 

Now, Let’s Get Down to Business

You will be reporting to the NZ Business Director, and the successful candidate will establish on-going mutually profitable business relationships with nominated Key Accounts, through the development and execution of sustainable monthly, quarterly and annual business plans. As we are looking for a 'game-changer', there will be a specific focus on identifying and developing strategies and plans — so if you have ideas, we want to hear them! Here's the list of responsibilities which you'll be accountable for:

 

  • Have ownership of the Account P&L, ensuring all key measures and targets are delivered for the business
  • Build channel and customer-specific strategies for the Account Concerned, and contribute to overall sales and commercial strategy/objectives of the business
  • Lead the process of negotiating annual customer trade terms and customer joint business plans (new product launches, 4P execution), ensuring excellent implementation from the Field Sales Team
  • In partnership with the Broker Field Sales Team, ensure that the appropriate information, tools and trackers are in place to ensure best in class execution through retail stores
  • Work with Supply/Customer Services team to ensure that customer service levels are met/exceeded
  • Build a highly effective team developing their capability/competence through focused coaching and support

We’ll need you to be comfortable taking the reins and guiding your colleagues along the way. We are looking for the following skills and experience:

 

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite (including excel, word, powerpoint and outlook);
  • Proficient in IRI tools
  • Critical thinking - problem-solving, analysis, project management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Leadership and team development
  • Strong commercial business and financial acumen
  • Proven ability to build, maintain and leverage relationships
  • Influence for results
  • Relevant NZ based FMCG and/or account management experience
