We are looking for an experienced Snr Marketing & Cat Dev Manager to join Edgewell Personal Care – a global consumer goods business with a portfolio of over 25 brands (Wilkinson Sword, Schick, Hawaiian Tropic, Carefree, Bulldog Skincare for Men, Jack Black and recently acquired Cremo Grooming… just to name a few!).

Here’s a sample of what you’ll get up to:

•Marketing Planning: Develop strategic and operational marketing plans for Italy and Spain, partnering with the Head of Marketing & Cat Dev and the Brand Strategy International team.
•Local Market Activation: Manage the assigned brand and product portfolio — positioning, technical, supply and logistics — in partnership with commercial teams.
•Market Analysis: Turn market data (Nielsen, Kantar, ad hoc research) into growth proposals and corrective actions, run retail pricing and comparative analyses, and monitor competitor activity.
•Communication & Execution: Shape Wilkinson’s communication strategy — write creative briefs (digital, social, PR, copy adaptations) and assess agency proposals to develop compelling materials.
•Markets Ambassador: Build strong ties with the Brand Strategy International team to adapt the brand strategy locally, while championing local needs and challenges back to the international team.
•Budget: Track Advertising & Promotion spend for your categories, supporting the commercial and category teams in Italy and Iberia.
•Category Reviews: Lead assigned category and innovation reviews
•Trade Story: Build customer-facing presentations grounded in analysis and actionable recommendations.
•Growth Strategy: Grow categories and brands through effective execution of the 4Ps.
•Customer Partnership: Act as a strategic partner to customers, developing joint initiatives rooted in buyer and consumer insight.
•Performance Management: Set clear performance targets and monitor results.
 

Are You Ready to Show Us What You’ve Got? 

We’re looking for an someone with significant experience ideally gained within an FMCG or Cosmetics business. While your experience is of course important, we’re all about making useful things joyful, so we love when our prospective candidates are passionate about this too.

 

Here’s what we are looking for:

•Experience: 10+ years across Trade Marketing, Sales and Marketing roles.
•Analytical Mindset: Critical thinking with a strong results orientation.
•Business Partnering: Able to influence critical decisions across teams.
•FMCG Expertise: Proven knowledge of the FMCG business model.
•Collaboration: Assertive, flexible and collaborative with external teams.
•Proactivity: Reliable and self-driven in taking on new projects.
•Languages: Strong English; Spanish a plus.
•Project Management: Hands-on knowledge and experience.
