As a key commercial role within Edgewell Personal Care, you’ll support the delivery of business objectives through effective customer management and flawless execution. You’ll focus on driving sell-in and sell-out performance, contributing to net sales and gross margin targets, and strengthening partnerships with key retailers in Italy.

 

Here’s a sample of what you’ll get up to:

 

  • Support planning and execution of customer strategies to maximise sales, profitability, and distribution.
  • Ensure forecast accuracy and contribute to the Annual Business Plan (ABP) through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor and analyse customer performance to identify growth opportunities via assortment, promotion, pricing, and placement.
  • Bridge strategy and execution at customer level, translating business priorities into measurable results in the field.
  • Achieve volume, net sales, and gross margin targets through effective customer management and accurate forecasting.
  • Monitor customer performance and provide analysis to support decisions on assortment, pricing, promotion, and placement.
  • Identify improvement opportunities across assigned customers.
  • Ensure high-quality forecasting in collaboration with the BAM Coordinator.
  • Support ABP deployment by aligning customer activities with business priorities and tracking performance against KPIs.
  • Implement initiatives to drive sell-out performance, ensuring compliance with commercial plans.
  • Monitor promotional effectiveness and distribution KPIs for excellence in execution at store and customer level.
  • Act as a key link between Sales, Marketing, Category Development, Customer Service, and Demand Planning.
  • Share insights and best practices to enhance alignment and execution efficiency across teams.

 

 

Are You Ready to Show Us What You’ve Got?

We’re looking for an someone with significant experience ideally gained within an FMCG or Cosmetics business. While your experience is of course important, we’re all about making useful things joyful, so we love when our prospective candidates are passionate about this too.

 

  • Some experience in a structured, agile multinational environment (ideally FMCG/Personal Care).
  • Sales experience, including sell-out activities and/or small DO customer management (field sales merchandising is an asset).
  • Knowledge of Italian retail dynamics.
  • Experience in Category Development or Marketing is a plus.
  • Ability to interpret data and performance metrics for commercial decision making.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; PowerBi knowledge is a plus.
  • Proactive attitude and curiosity for commercial/customer management.
  • Strong commercial acumen: understanding net sales, gross margin, and sell-out drivers.
  • Analytical skills: ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Good grasp of sales fundamentals and customer management processes.
  • Agile, proactive, and collaborative approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English & Italian (written and spoken)
