We are looking for an experienced Finance professional to join Edgewell Personal Care – a global consumer goods business with a portfolio of over 25 brands (Wilkinson Sword, Schick, Hawaiian Tropic, Carefree, Bulldog Skincare for Men, Jack Black and recently acquired Cremo Grooming… just to name a few!).
Now, Let’s Get Down to Business
The Finance Business Partner Italy will be a key member of the Europe Finance team with responsibility for financial planning, reporting and analysis. Key areas of focus include the generation of the annual budget and quarterly reporting process.
To provide this support to the business, the candidate will need to demonstrate high levels of commercial awareness, strong day-to-day financial management together with the provision of insightful analysis and reporting.
This role will be to business partner the Commercial Director for Italy for all matters relating to Italy and also be the business partner to the wider Italian Commercial team. Work alongside the Spain financial analyst to help produce all financial schedules and financial reporting for the Italy + Iberia Hub. Assist Europe Senior Finance Manager with other Europe Area requirements including budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis as required Includes A&P & Overhead Control, and other EU tasks as reporting.
Here’s a sample of what you’ll get up to:
• Both challenging and supporting the Commercial Director for Italy in all Financial matters including actuals performance and forward forecasting & budgeting
• Ensuring the Commercial Director for Italy is fully informed and understands the financial performance of the business and the monthly, quarterly and annual forecast positions vs targets at all times
• Act as project lead for key Italian projects to assist in financially evaluating new business & developing improved processes
• Work with the Commercial Director of Italy to develop the detailed three-year financial plan for the business
• Analyze and assess new launch plans, retailer growth and category outlook to underpin assumptions
• Work with other Italy + Iberia (IT & IB) stakeholders to prepare and assess the budget for the full IT + IB P&L down to operating profit
• Ensure all financials are successfully and accurately loaded onto the Hyperion platform at the end of each month
• Prepare any reconciliations related to Italy’s performance
• Calculate & track other elements including ECOM, NPD , SRGM, Bonus etc for Italy
• Review, authorize & control the level of promotional Investment in the Italy P&L including reconciliation to Balance Sheet
• Carry out Sox and external audit requirements for deflator as required
• Ensure A&P Investment and Overhead costs are controlled and evaluated as required

Ideally you will have finance support/ business partner experience gained within a Consumer Goods, Personal Care or Cosmetics company. While your experience is of course important, we’re all about making useful things joyful, so we love it when our prospective candidates are passionate about this too
Here’s what we are looking for:
• Significant Finance Business Partnering experience (ideally within Consumer Goods)
• Strong attention detail
• Ability to problem solve across a wide range of issues
• University degree or equivalent in commercial or finance related subject
• Recognized Accountancy qualification (CIMA Preferably)
• Strong IT and technical skills
• Good interpersonal and management skills
