Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A

Position Summary
- Sr. Financial Analyst FP&A will support the financial processes, systems and studies that support planning and forecasting for North America including operational planning, quarterly forecasting, monthly outlooks, monthly reporting business reviews.
- This role will also support the NA overhead analysis and management across all BUs. Strong cross-functional partnering across 15+ cost center owners to further manage SGA targets and identify areas of stronger ROI opportunities.
- In this role you will be expected to deliver timely, relevant, and accurate analysis that leads to efficient and effective commercial processes. Championing day to day process simplification efforts is also a critical expectation for this role.
Accountabilities:
- Provides financial support on the planning, reporting, and analysis of financial results vs PY, ABP and latest forecast down to segment profit and Operating profit
- Provides support to the FP&A Manager and other functional and operational leaders by providing Ad-Hoc analysis that can help drive forward looking decision making to ensure the successful delivery of Edgewell financial results
- Co-manages SG&A planning and forecast process across the US market
- Provide financial planning and analysis support to commercial team leaders
- Partner with Marketing and Sales Strategy to manage Advertising and Promotional spend and Sales forecast
- Support Annual Business Plan and quarterly financial forecasts development and submission
- Analyze actual P&L operating results and provides variance analysis and reporting to department heads and Finance Management
- Requires strong technical and analytical skills, self-motivation, and ability to interact with diverse business managers and leaders at varying levels of the company
Required Education, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5-6 years of financial analytical experience
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external business partners
- Strong analytical and problem-resolution skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritize based on business strategies and objectives
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Hyperion Planning and SAP (or other ERP) experience
- Experience in the CPG industry preferred
- Additional degrees of certifications preferred e.g. MBA, CPA, CMA

The salary range for this position is $76,000 - $114,000. The actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance.
